Bill Barker Memorial Golf Tournament

First gross score: 61

The winning team of Arthur Forest, Bill Hammond, Scott Spitzer and John Pietro turned in a gross of 61 to take the prize for first gross score at the 2007 Bill Barker Memorial Golf Tournament on July 26, 2007.

First net score: 58

 A net of 58 took the prize for first net score for the team of Bernie Tacheny, Tom Tanimura, Jerry Yednak and Ben Miyaoka.

A sold-out field of 36 teams competed on the Bayonet course at Blackhorse Bayonet Golf Club.

The Monterey County Farm Bureau event honors the memory of former Farm Bureau Executive Director Bill Barker and raises funds for the Bill Barker Leadership Fund, Monterey County Agricultural Education and Farm Bureau programs.

Other results included:

Second net went to the team of Shade, Tom Crosby, DeWayne Browing and Jessie Lopez, which turned in a gross of 63 and a net 60.

Third net went to the team of Britt Davis, Mike Silva, Manny Silva, Jr., and Ernie Ramirez, which recorded a gross 64 and a net 60, but lost a playoff against Shade, Crosby, Browing and Lopez.

Fourth net was won by Brian Kirkpatrick, Vic Heinzberger, Dave Rose and David Compton with a gross 63 and a net 61.

Fifth net went to Chris Reade, Chris Lemmon, Merenda and Barone, with a gross 62 and net 62.
