The Monterey County Farm Bureau Board of Directors meets at noon on the second Thursday of each month.  Meetings alternate between Salinas and King City.  Information intended for the Board of Directors should be sent to

The Executive Committee consists of the president, the four vice presidents and the immediate past president.  The president and the four vice presidents serve one-year terms.  They are elected by the Board of Directors at the first board meeting following the county annual meeting.

 Board of Directors

The Monterey County Farm Bureau Board of Directors consists of 30 directors who are bona fide farmers.  They serve three-year staggered terms, so one-third of the board is up for reelection each year at the county annual meeting.  Directors who fill vacancies that occur during the course of a term are placed on the same cycle as the director they replace.

Board seats are organized by district.

 The year given at the end of each director’s listing in parentheses refers to the Membership Year for which that director is up for reelection.  For example, the annual meeting in October 2006 will reelect ten directors whose terms begin with the 2007 Membership Year (November 1, 2006, to October 31, 2007).
